It is a straight pin that sticks out and a clasp fits over it.

it has the pin thats like a tac.......and then there is a rubber backing in the shape of a mickey head that covers the point.....i believe they offically started trader pins around 1999, something like that. Im not sure if disney would allow this pin to be traded....however, its still a really cool pin and I'd love to have it in my collection! :)

Does Disney have it's own trading place at the theme parks? Is that where you are talking about when you say 'I don't think Disney would allow this to be traded'? Because obviously anyone who buys an item can trade or sell it with anyone else that they want in any kind of forum...ebay craigslist listia etc.....

traders are also marked on the back with OFFICAL TRADER and disney copyright info and year it was made.
