this auction is for a windows XP laptop and it works but it needs more memory and possibly a new fan and the battery charges only last 3 hours even charged. And also with wifi card built in and setup to use wifi. And cord comes with the laptops. And haves all virus protection installed. And I only ship to the US and only to verified addresses listia rules and if through email will relist and keep credits. FYI there most likely isn't any problem with this unit turning off after a certain time period. If you go to the control panel - Power options, you will probably find that the Laptop is set to go to sleep and/or shut down on the selected options. (Mostly to save battery life) Just go to the power options and change the selections to what you desire and then click apply. you can set it to shut down when you want or to never shut down at all. Yes it has a built in wireless card and i'm using it right now with my DSL company, you can get wifi anywhere wifi is available. Sorry i could'nt get back to you sooner
