Description

The listing, Antique Bottle #2 has ended.

I have a number of bottles, excavated from a dump site that are at least 50 -70 years old. I was warned that it might detract from the value of the bottle if they're improperly washed, but I did brush them off and rinse them quickly. I don't want to go through the hassle of getting them appraised, but I know that they are worth a few bucks a piece, some more than others!

This bottle has a cap, but the cap is severely corroded as you can see in the picture. it's 5" high, 2.5 inches diameter at the base. Aside from the cap it's in great condition!

Is there a seam up the body of the bottle? If there is, how far up does the seam go? Does it go up the neck to the very top,or does the seam stop at the top of the bottle just before the neck starts to tapper in? or is there no seam at all? Thank's:)

Thanks for bringing that up! There *is* a seam that runs up either side, and I believe it runs all the way too the top, but the lid is brittle and I don't want to risk damaging it to try and unscrew it.

Cool, neat bottle. Any clue as to the manufacturer?
