The 25th Infantry is a U.S. Army division based in Hawaii. The division, which was activated on 1 October 1941 in Hawaii, conducts military operations in the Asia-Pacific region. Its present deployment is composed of Stryker, light infantry, airborne, and aviation units.
Engraved on it is Tropic Lightning- their nickname with 2 shoulder shield patch insignias, soldiers landing on the beach, palm trees and a helicopter hovering.
On the back is engraved 25th Infant Division , PRESENTED BY THE COMMANDING GENERAL, U.S. ARMY, HAWAII. No date.

This medallion is in near perfect condition.
