Come on people, This is for a Notebook. it says right on the tag.
200-pin SODIMMs are used to provide DDR2 memory for notebook computers.It also says on the tag this is 200-pin SODIMMs DDR2 PC2-5300. To use DDR2 memory, your system motherboard must have 200-pin SODIMM slots and a DDR2-enabled chipset. A DDR2 SODIMM will not fit into a standard SDRAM SODIMM socket. Hope this helps.

No it can`t be for both. Laptop memory don`t work in desktops. If I could read the numbers on the stick I could tell you. thanks..
