These shoes are really comfy, but they are made for a more narrow foot. My foot is more on the average to wide side, so I haven't worn them more than once or twice. The soles are barely worn.
They are definitely quality shoes and this company's shoes are pretty pricey (you can see for yourself at softwalkshoes.com). The have an eggcrate footbed with muliple layers of cushion.
**One note: The elderly lady who owned the private shoe store I bought them from was closing her shop after her husband died and she wrote the size and model number, in ink, inside the shoe. It's small, but it's there.
