Description
The listing, Paper Beads - Variety has ended.
I handmake paper beads, I love doing it. I have many and am putting some up for auction. The beads shown are not the beads winner will receive but they will receive approximately 20 and beads which are comparable. I have such a variety of them and I have them separated by colors. Winner will receive about 20 beads
These are great for making bracelets & necklaces with kids or for art projects , i.e. journals and mixed media. They are made from magazines, old papers, some I paint, some I just leave natural. I also have a few bracelets I will be putting up for auction also.
Questions & Comments
Paper beads are fun to make you are right! Just stopping by. :3 Fanned you also!
Never thought of trying Mop & Glo! I tried the clear nail polish before, but sometimes even the thinnest coat made them mushy! D:
I use mod podge a lot of the time! It's really safe on the colors and it doesn't have a smell like Elmers or nail polish might! Though I used glue for the longest for glaze. A large tub of mod podge is around 5 dollars and serious... if you take care of it and remember to seal it you will probably have a life time supply of glaze for your beads! I just brush it on and leave it to try and it's shiny and safe in less then 10 mins.
I always have the stuff around regardless cause I do a lot of decoupage, acrylic painting and various other crafts and the 'left over' mod podge from a project is literally enough to do 800-2000 beads! O_O
Yes the mop & glo makes them harder, however, I've used modge podge and make my own from elmers glue. It works well and I don't need to buy it, although I've seen there are many different types. I have a slew of beads I've made and use them to make bracelets and since I'm now getting into mix media art and painting, i'm going to try using some of them for that. I do have some beads up for auction (not the ones in photo - I use that as a generic photo) just because I have so many (not 800 -2000 though! haha) and I use credits to bid on other supplies and baby things as I will be a grandmother soon (I'm spoiling him already lol)... decoupage I love that myself!
I saw you only got 100 credits for 4 forever stamps If you would be willing to do another auction ill give you 200 credits for every forever stamp 250 if you could wait a week I can do 250 a stamp for any amount above 10 stamps like 40 stamps is what I want
