it says on the case that it's a family pack for 3 computers so it should be usable for 2 more computers right? @felburg, i was thinking the same thing but this url made me backtrack

http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/office/forum/office_2010-office_install/how-many-computers-can-i-install-office-2010-home/93a42526-0f43-e011-9767-d8d385dcbb12

only question is, is it only for computers under the same wi-fi/server or any 3 computers.

I think the license agreement would still be under your name but if any illegal activity occur then it may affect you like any other software agreement for example someone making additional copies of the software dics without permission.

just a general question, but, is there a certain amount of credits you'd accept instead of paying for shipping? like maybe 15,000 or 20,000?

I would consider it but how do you do that?

You need to contact Microsoft and unregister it under your name + remove it from any computers you have it installed on.

@ 1957horses, i've read the same things too but i've also gotten norton security off here. it was Meant for 3 computers within the same household, but they sold me their last disc and it worked just fine. should work the same here

They didn't tell me that.

I just looked it up and it said this::

"The three computers must be within the same household and the suite must be Office Home and Student" :-(

I don't think this is right

well, it's more of a virtue job, see, after you establish/update your auction w/ the amount you'll accept that would allow for free shipping... (you can't change the shipping price b/c it's there, but you can write that if it reaches so and so credit,s it's free shipping). if someone hits that mark, when they win, you ship for free. No one gets penalized for it since it's your auction.

If this is used, the activation code will not work on any other computers. Only the Enterprise allows multiple installs.
