Description
The listing, 1930's Glass Coral Cabochon Carved Look has ended.
From what I have been told, this was made in Japan in the 1930's. This cabochon has flowers and leaves as the motif. The color is coral. The edges are irregular and have a "carved" look to them which will have to be a consideration when setting. The size is 27x35 and the thickness is about 3mm (shown in the green color). This also would work well for wire wrapping. Due to the fact that this is an old piece, there may be tiny flaws in it, however, I see nothing major. I do combine shipping. A focal bead or cabochon is .25 extra and a strand of beads are .50.
Questions & Comments
Love the colors but if they're not carved would you say they're molded
Yes they are molded glass. However they have a lovely carved "look" to them. I have made several pendants out of these in different colors and they are beautiful when finished. Sorry it took so long to respond it's been a rough day today.
Now that I think of it I should have used quotation marks on the word look in the title. New user mistake! I'll think more about that next time. I don't want anyone to think it misleading.
