-I believe this is a 9, I'm not 100% sure. It still fits my finger and that's what I wear.

I got it at an estate auction back in the early 90's. It was in the bottom of a box of odds and ends. I don't even believe that the people that sold the box knew it was in there because it was clear down at the bottom. There was a bunch of misc. things, no jewerly so that's why I thought it was odd that this ring was there. The lady that owned the house had died, it was an estate auction. My sister's father in law bought the house that was being auctioned off. The house was in Uniopolis, Ohio. I hope this helps. That's pretty much all I can remember.

Wow! I would have loved that Estate Auction! So many cool things to look through! Did you ever take it to a Jeweler to find out if it was sterling? And you just knew the stone? Looks like a lot of "silver work" on the sides, is it filigreed, there? Thanks very much:)

I never took it to a jeweler cuz I didn't like the ring. I just put it in my jewerly box and life moved on. I raised 8 kids and helped with my grand kids. Now I've got 1 great-grandbaby and waiting on more :)
