Up for bid are two woven bookmarks, product of Turkey. One is of the Virgin Mary; the other of Saint Paul.The Saint Paul bookmark (measures about 8½") comes from a shop called the Hippodrome in Istanbul, Turkey. The Virgin Mary bookmark (measures about 9") comes from Dereli Bookstore, also in Turkey.
Both items are still sealed in their original packages. They are finely woven using a lot of metallic gold threads and other vibrant colors! Beautiful!
Would make a nice little Valentine gift for Grandma, Aunt, Friend, etc.
I know some people collect religious items, but I listed these under "books" for those who actually like to use bookmarks. :)
