Are these OPAL or OPALITE? It's two different things. One way more valuable.

Opal is a gemstone made of a very flaky mineral, it can't be carved like this and it's very fragile. So you don't get real opals of this size, usually they are tiny flakes encased in glass. This is opalite glass, it is a special glass that glows blue/orange when the light hits it.
