Won't the post get broke going through the sorting machine at the post office? Just wondering in case I ever auction earrings..

As a listia seller it is your responsibility the items arrive safely, securely and without damage. These can't be sent without damage too the earrings! The reason being is it has too go through a sorter! If you are going to send these in a stamped white envelope as a seller you should write "HAND CANCEL" on the envelope! Also, you are right you can block whomever you want but it is your feedback which is ultimately going to be affected by poor packaging!

Did you remove the backs (posts) so you could ship in a plain envelope? BTW, you are totally responsible for how the items arrive. Read the Listia rules. You can always charge shipping up front and then ship safely at winner's expense.

I just want to verify that you are saying you plan to place these in just a regular run of the mill everyday envelope you would normally send a letter in??

OK...for all who have chosen to get in on this listing: I have received earrings this way: wrapped in bubble wrap in a regular letter size envelope through the mail. That doesn't necessary mean they are safe every time: I did not think of that. The ONLY reason that I offered it this way is to offer people who can not pay shipping, a way to get them; by me paying for a stamp. As far as me 'scamming' anyone or never taking care of my packages: if you have ever received an item from me, I always go far and beyond the packaging, shipping, and even throw in extra gifts. Now: you are correct and I didn't think of the sorter so I will not ship in a regular envelope: NO-the posts are still on these earrings (as per the pictures). They came with only the tiny plastic earring backs:no metal backs. So I thank you all who offered help. The 'lash out' on my side is that I was paying around $75/week in shipping fees for everyone-that was my choice, I know. But now I can't offer that and was still trying to figure out how to offer it cheaper for everyone. It's called geniune care and help.SO, I had a brain *****: it happens. I really believe in this type of site and it irritates me when people are negative and can't just ask a question, or offer some helpful advice, rather than try to tear everything down. I have no issues admitting I made an error in judgement. I also have no issues discussing anything about my postings, without straight out rude, ridiculous and negative comments. yes, that is correct...unless you want it shipped differently and pay for that cost.
