I think the whole system works pretty well. This is more for spot treatment and an all over mask. I used the Proactiv System for about a year and it did clear up my acne, but ended up leaving my skin really dry. Just recently I switched to Mario Badescu products and absolutely love their stuff! My skin doesn't dry out near as much, but I have combination super dry and oily skin. I think if you have a more normal skin type Proactiv products would be a great choice.
