it's more like a sheet. It's a 55% cotton 45% polyester blend. It's light and soft. Thank YOU! Good questions! The tag also has laundering directions- it's machine washable- cold seperate- do not bleach it also says.

How old is this? Is the elastic okay?

It is new, bought for my daughter around Sept 2012. She only wore it once for pictures. She out grew this shortly after. Everything is in excellent condition!
