Heart's Desire: Golden Filagree Heart Locket Pendants

These airy golden heart lockets can hold all kinds of sentiments: a love note, a prayer or blessing, gemstones or pure air. They are the essence of simplicity: They hold securely closed as soon as a necklace chain or cord runs through the hole on top.

Each heart (gold-colored brass) is 30mm long, 25mm wide, 18mm thick,, with a generous 3mm hole for the necklace chain or cord.

This auction is for three (3) "open-heart" lockets. (No gemstones included.)

The 4-day auction ends Jan. 31 and I promise to ship on Feb. 1 so that they arrive in plenty of time for Valentine's Day gifts!

I don't think so. I can only say that it's "gold-toned." But it's a classy job... doesn't look yellow/cheap. It's a richer tone that (to my eye, anyway) could easily "look like" gold plate.
I'm being totally honest, here, but feel a little nervous, since the way it looks to me might not be the way it looks to others.

On my computer screen, the color is pretty true, but maybe slightly darker than in real life. The last photo is probably truest to color, but the light bounced off some of the filagree and made it look almost like there was diamond/CZ dust on some of it. (NOT.)

The earlier photos were taken with less direct camera "flash," and so they are "under-lit." That's what I was trying to say about the color.

It looks so coppery-colored that I'm quite sure it isn't. Itlooks like it is "hand-made, though, because of the way the wire wraps in curls around the edge and because of the little spikes that hold the photos firmly in place (they remind me of a ring setting for a stone). The pendant is very sturdy, seemingly very well-made although I have NO (zero!) expertise in this part of jewelry construction or antique jewelry making.
