theres also a way to kickstart them back awake if fresh batteries dont work, but you have to carefully skin them, open them and play with a few gears...got one at goodwill for 25 cents and it wouldnt wake up so i fixed him.
So cool I had several in the time siince they first made them. I was telling a fellow listian that my dog ate my furby. I want a new one and will keep it out of her reach. I just had no idea she hated the little guy so much.
Also you can find the original instructions on google. To reset, hold the furby upside down. Put your finger in his mouth...I know, right? Then get a pen or something and push the reset button in for a few seconds.
You need fresh batteries in it. Once the batteries get old, the furby will continually go to sleep and then die when the batteries die. I am not sure, but there also might be a reset button that you have to push when you change the batteries.
