Description

The listing, (12) Bamforth & Co. Early POSTCARDS Song / Verse Photo POST CARD LOT has ended.

Up for auction is a lot containing 12 early Bamforth postcards. Bamforth & Co Ltd was started in 1870 by James Bamforth, a portrait photographer in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, England. The early cards specialized in song & verse productions.

Cards are in good condition for their age (over 100 years), with the exception of the one titled "Rocked in the Cradle of the Deep", which has a couple noticeable cracks in the photo finish from being placed under tabs in an album. Some others have some normal minor storage wear, but basically a nice lot!

Most of the lot are undivided backs. Some are posted; some not. Cards will be shipped in a small album to protect them during travel. Please ask any questions before bidding. Shipping is FREE in the USA.
