LEPRECHAUN. Warwick Davis as the leprechaun who, as walys, is trying to recover every bit of his lost gold. The difference is, he inflicts casual mayhem in the process. Not your standard Lucky Charms version. Stars a young Jennifer Annison who is trying to escape his gleeful butchery.

WISHMASTER. Excellent movie...among my favorites. Forget Barbara Eden as the beautiful Jeannie. Here an evil djinn somewhat more consistent with Middle Eastern lore is freed from his entrapment inside a statue so that he can grant Faustian wishes which bring him increasingly closer to releasing his unpleasant buddies. And he has ways of making you make those wishes. Great make-up effects, excellent story, fine wrap-up.

WISHMASTER II: EVIL NEVER DIES. The same djinn is back out, racking up wish-points towards freeing his companions. Same excellent quality of the first. (The next two sequels are abysmmal...don't bother getting them.)
