*PRIMO HAND-POLISHED LAKE SUPERIOR PAINT AGATE SEMIPRECIOUS GEMSTONE*
--This is one doozy of an paint agate here! As you can see in the pictures, this baby's got it all and then some! Beautiful opaque peachy, pinkish, red coloring with banding, Druzy, and a beautiful eye to top it all off! There is some unfortunate chipping on the agate, which you can see in the pictures, otherwise an immaculate specimen!
-- The lines of colors throughout the agate are internal fractures caused by millions of years of freezing in subzero temps during the winter up here in the Keweenaw!
-- Many of folks will tell you that Minnesota is the only place you can find true paint agates, but that's a bunch of Tom-foolery, as I find them all the time on MI beaches!! =)
