Description

The listing, 1969 Topps baseball card lot w/ Rico Petrocelli has ended.

Here's a lot of eight (8) vintage 1969 Topps baseball cards (NOT reprints). Please note this is a lower-grade condition lot, with all cards having creases and/or other issues. But then again, these cards are 44 years old. Neat bit of history, but if you're picky about condition, this is not the auction for you.

RICO PETROCELLI (SS, Red Sox) was Boston's starting shortstop (later moving to third to make room for Luis Aparicio) for over a decade, making the All-Star team twice. He was a great fielder, and also had some pop, with 210 career home runs.

Royals Rookie Stars STEVE JONES & ELISEO RODRIGUEZ - Ellie Rodríguez was an All-Star twice.

JOHN PURDIN (P, Dodgers) was part of the 1965 Dodgers team that won the World Series, along with HOFers Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale.

FRED TALBOT (P, Yankees) pitched for 8 years with 4 different teams.

JOE FOY (3B, Royals) was Boston's third-baseman when the Sox won the pennant in 1967.

JIM HANNAN (P, Senators) went to Notre Dame then pitched a decade in the majors.

VERN FULLER (2B, Indians) played 6 years for Cleveland.

CHUCK HARTENSTEIN (P, Pirates) pitched 6 years in the majors, ending his big league career with the expansion Toronto Blue Jays in 1977 after being out of the majors for years.
