Description

The listing, Very Vintage Coro Duette Brooch / Clips has ended.

New Lower Starting Bid
Art Deco (really) 1930's Patents on this 'Duette" Brooch
Pot Metal Frames and Rhinestones of which some have yellowed a bit. The 2 clips can be removed from the frame to be worn as dress clips or on the frame as a brooch.
Frame and clips work very well. Go ahead and google coro duette and see how these really worked!
Not perfect condition, but still perfectly wonderful.
I always thought I would replace the yellowed stones but never got around to it!
Sorry about the high starting bid but if that is all it went for you would have a fantastic bargain!
Will try for better photos soon~~ Brooch latch also in great working order.
Selling as is~ needs work!

I have never seen these before. I don't mind the yellow stones. Once we hit their age all our fingernails turn yellow.

Ty, I wanted to replace the yellowed stones with better vintage ones but never got around to it. Your right that you don't see them very often unless you search for them. Think all the collectors have them as collectors weekly magazine did a stint awhile back and spoke of these as being a top collectible.

It could be if the yellow stones were replaced. would have to use vintage stones to achieve uniform sameness. I always meant to do this but it has been sitting in my jewelry chest of drawers for about 15 years so time to go!
