this is a new 16 g,for ear .eyebrowl,or labre piercing.it is one use and sealed in a autoclaved pouch.once it is open it should only be used on one person and discrded in a safe container to be put in the trash safely

What is the danger of someone acquiring a piece like this, using it, sterilizing and re-using it?

well if it is sterilized.that is not something i would need to discuss here.it is although 316L surgical steel.the same as a scalpel they use in a hospital.they resterilize them dont they?yes in fact they do.once it is used over and over it will like all. metals get dull.you can obtain this info from any site elsewhere,as for my knowledge,i am a 24 year veteran of tattooing and piercing.i dont recommend or consul the reuse of anything.i dont do it and it is quite up to the buyer to not reuse it eighter.that is why it is explained single use only.thank you for askin and your thoughts.i hope i have been able to answer your question.it sounds like it is the buter that this question is made for.
