Up for bid is a small collection of UAR (United Arab Republic) and Kingdom of Jordan postage stamps from 1966.The UAR was in existence from 1958 to 1971. It's a complicated history and you can check it out here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Arab_Republic.
I was surgery secretary at a medical center, and one of my surgical residents was from Kuwait and one from Jordan. Knowing I collected stamps, they saved them from their relative's letters for me.
I no longer collect stamps, and thought these might be fun for someone who IS into stamp collecting. They're all very colorful and in good condition.
Oh, and they are loose, not attached to the background they were scanned on.
