This auction is for the recipe to roast pigeon with rice pilau. This is an old recipe from a much earlier generation. Thought it would be fun to offer some different interesting recipes. With the financially troubled times we live in we should look to our past for all the help we can.

I will email the recipe to the winner. If you have any odd or different recipe you are looking for let me know and I can find it and add it to this auction. Squirrel, frog legs, roast opossum, kidney stew, or what would you like?

Where does one get a pigeon to eat? i never knew you could eat one there must be no meat at all on it

I have seen squab for sale in stores. Perhaps people do not know this but squab is pigeon. You could always trap your own as well, I know no laws prohibiting pigeon hunts, hehe, but seriously this is a real recipe that I remember seeing in my great grandmother's cookbook way back when.
