Don’t expect surround sound, but they do work fairly well (I bought two, am using one and don’t need the second.)

And no … of course the MP3 player in the photo does NOT come with the speakers. I put them there just to show how it works.

Anything that takes a 3.5 audio jack SHOULD work, but I can't swear it will work with every device.
