It is a pair of gold colored sconces that I had bought,(paid about $20 a piece) but never used them. They can be used in a variety of ways. I included a couple of pictures to show in which ways they can be used. The top of them are flat and can be used to hold small flower pots, candle holders, small statues, or anything you can think of. They do have some weight to them, so they are very durable. The tops measure about 5 1/2'' X almost 4'', so they would make a good base to hold something. The drapery hole is about 2'' in diameter. The last photo's are ideas of ways to use them, hope they help. I will also give you a set of matching curtain lanyards, to hold open your curtains.
