Description

The listing, 1953A 5 dollar silver certificate has ended.

This is a note i got while i worked in a gas station. I bought all the odd and old money from the register while i was working.
It is a 1953A 5 dollar silver certificate.
signed by Priest and Anderson.
I believe it to be "Off center"(?) Top to bottom
Heavy folds, no holes and as far as i can see it only has a few MINOR nicks along the top and bottom edge.
The corners I see, are dog eared in the photos but are all 4 still intact.
I took a lot of pictures because i don't really know what info you may need. If you would like more pictures or need any more info, don't hesitate to ask. If this auction goes well i have a 1935 1 dollar silver certificate and 1932 silver dollar coin i am considering listing.
I am not really a collector of these objects so i would like to pass them on to someone who will appreciate them and knows how to care for them for the future.
That being said my ignorance could be your gain. I will start this at zero and see what happens, i invite all those with knowledge to PLEASE comment. I have been looking around listia at these and i know there is a lot of appreciation for old currency. Good luck to all and thank you for looking.
Watchers would be nice too, I have a couple badges im trying for :)

Oh wow what to say... well, the condition is really poor but, what a find- Yeah? I am watching and am eagerly waiting for outcome. To bidders, watch your points closely; check out the internet, to get some idea what it is, that all you are bidding on. <-- Good Idea! Just looking out for the beginner Collectors Mainly, that's all! Great piece Loved the pics sooperIowa Good luck to you and your endevors.

I don't think it's off centered. It looks normal. Most bills are perfectly centered. I have an off centered $1 but it's easy to tell because the bottom margin about 1/4 of an inch wide. But this is still really cool. Fanned and watching.
