The listing, WD Hard Drive 250 Gb For Laptop Or Ps3 has ended.

I used it for my playstation 3. No damaged I installed in playstation 3 then when I sold playstation 3 I had to remove hard drive and back put it in a box. I did format this hard drive.

why does it say 40 gb is it 40 or 250

My guess is they put the 40 Gb back in the ps3 and put the 250 back in the box

Idahospud, I'm sorry that my hard drive will not compatible in your laptop since that your laptop only can work with hard drive that has interface ATA-100, my hard drive is SATA so that's different. Your laptop is outdated I looked up and your laptop is 10 years old. Time to buy a new laptop? I found one for you

Take a look between different SATA and ATA picture.
