Hello, fellow thread crocheters and Barbie lovers! I have an extra special auction for you which will be a four-day quickie (so that it ends the same day as my other current pattern auctions). I've been crocheting Barbie gowns (mostly for my own collection) for years, many of them from Paradise Publications (which as you may know are truly the top of the line). A pattern I've reluctantly decided I will never get around to (and which is therefore in like-new condition) is the magnificent 1905 Contessa's Crystal Gown #P-094 (Vol. 83), covered totally in silver bugle beads and crystals. I would love to make this, but am paring down my Barbie creations to concentrate more on baby items for charity. If you are an experienced thread crocheter, I hope you will put this gorgeous pattern to good use! (I've also added a GIN since this is such a very special pattern.)

Our home is smoke-free, and our dogs have not been near the pattern.
