This tree is native to Australia and has beautiful bright red blooms (that grow in the shape of a baby bottle washer-- hence the name) that the Hummingbirds just love! And other birds too, I might add. Happy bidding and growing!

well I just googled it and it looks like it is hardy in zones 9 thru 11---where are you?

I finally know what these plants are :) I have several of these in my yard, I'm in Georgia. They grow like crazy and are usually covered in hummingbirds, butterflies, and honeybees :) When you cut them back, the woody stems give off a strong juniper scent. They are lovely and unique.

TY for that comment! Lucky you if you have them growing in your yard too. I see birds in them all the time and the red blooms last for a really long time. They are pretty drought tolerant too which is nice! I like it when they are growing like little trees and the branches dangle down ---they are described as "weeping" branches like the Weeping Willow tree-- -they are sometimes trimmed back--sort'of like giving a tree a "hair-cut"--LOL Sometimes you will see them growing really bushy-- thanks for sharing your story--I bet they love it in Georgia.
