The listing, earrings: square abalone in silver frame has ended.

These earrings are beautiiful - they are abalone in the center surrounded by a frame of silver. The back is silver - the abalone does not show through to the back.

The squares are approximately 1/2" on each side and 1/8" thick.

You know, I did see a number on the back before I took them out to my workshop. I don't want to guess, so I'll check tomorrow and let you know what it says. I do know they really are silver.

I just had a better idea: I had a photo of the back that didn't upload, so I did that now - and two came up. Anyway, I looked at the original, enlarged it enormously, and saw "925" on the back.
