Questions & Comments
Jet922 = My initials and birthday September 22. lol I don't think anyone has ever asked me that before,. :) BTW: I did some research on your note & the stamp at the time that it was placed there originally read "Japanese War Notes/received for Safe Keeping/Association of the Philippines". Only after we reoccupied the Philippines did the money end its usefulness and was turned in, hopefully in exchange for something equally useful. Several bills show ink stamp markings indicating some sort of collection and exchange by a government entity. Fabulous collectibles from the Pacific Campaign, and the Japanese Occupation of the Philippines. Just to help out with the credits on this note :)
All I can say for sure is somewhere around WWII. The ink stamp the Japs used on the bill is not completely visible. The part I mentioned in the description is though.
