My son had the elephant when he was little and lost it I would love this for my great Grand baby coming in May

aww such good memories :) I love the old sock toys. This instruction leaflet is prob. 20 some years old but still like new.
I made lots of them and had several duplicate instructions. It shows how to make both monkey and elephant. You can change the size by using different size socks. Pretty much any pair of socks will do although it's fun to have the color on the heel and toe.
I made a monkey last summer for a friends toddlers birthday. Most of the nieces and nephews got one as they were growing up. Crochet hats and scarves are cute as well as the sock hat and I've seen felt ones too.
