I bought many of these years ago, from a man who worked at the Shell station. The aluminum quarter size coins were made by Franklin Mint for the Shell Gas Stations in the 1960's. These were made and given away as a promotion, to customer's who filled up their gas tanks~
The game had a card and prizes could be won, by filling out the card with these coins.
These coins are getting hard to find.

Paul Revere,Thomas Edison, Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, The Star Spangled Banner written by Francis Scott Key, Admiral Byrd's Flight Over The South Pole, Abraham Lincoln, and John Paul Jones.
