These peppers are very prolific, and hardy. I grow them outside during summer and also in the winter indoors in a sunny window. I use only organic soil and organic fertilizers and compost. They are great for canning, pickling or drying. They grow to be six inches long and a half inch thin. The green fruits turn red when mature. They are named after the South American River in Guyana by the same name. The peppers were picked at their prime, seeds collected, cleaned and packed for shipment for the 2013 growing season. Seeds will arrive in a small packet. Store immediately in a cool, dry jar until ready to use. Best if stored in a deep freeze inside a small jar. Do not put inside regular freezers.
