And it can be YOURS, it looks like, for 499 credits plus postage! You can't buy a piece of jewelry at a Dollar-type store for that price! I have just collected too many beautiful pieces and I don't wear and need to practically give some away... I just can't afford to give away shipping expenses too!

Glad you like it! Consider this, 499 points is equal to $.83. Listia allows you to buy 3000 credits for $5. You would actually be paying $5.33 total, including USPS mailing charges, the cost of a padded envelope, and gas to drive to the PO. I am practically giving it away! Similar pendants (w/o the fancy wire wrapping) have sold on eBay for $35 - $45... and of course, in jewelry stores, or stores like Macy's, they would be more. Hope you understand why I simply cannot go lower on credits/points or postage. Have a great week!

Yes I have noticed that more and more are charging shipping these days. I struggle to keep my auctions free, but then again, I do not want the headaches that charging shipping costs. You do take Paypal I hope.

Oh, my yes! PayPal is preferred! Many of us can afford to practically give away things we don't want or need, but few of us has the extra cash to pay the shipping as well. The post office has priced itself out of the market. Anything that weighs over 13 oz. has to go "standard" which is the new parcel post and those rates start at $5. Gasoline prices and diesel fuel are driving the prices up, but I think that even if gas ever got to $1.50 or $2 a gallon again, the shippers would not pass the savings along... it would merely increase their profitability.
