The listing, (2) Vintage Needlework Booklets – Crochet and Embroidery has ended.

Up for bid are two vintage needlework booklets. One is "The Magic of Crochet", a 1941 publication by The Spool Cotton Company.

Has numerous project instructions / pictures. Placemats, shaggy rug, slippers, fancy gloves, curtain pulls (anyone remember them?), doilies, collars, hot mat, etc. Some wear, but in good condition for the age.

The other booklet is "The ABC of Embroidery Stitches. It's a 1951 publication by the American Thread Company. If you ever do "crazy quilt" work, this book is great! Shows many different stitches (how to), and even tassels and huck weaving. Some wear, but also in good condition for the age.

These were not originally mine, but there is no evidence of smoking or pets. Very clean. Both were originally 10¢!
