No, your laptop is pata or other words IDE , this is a sata hd , if you had an IDE to sata adapter technically you could, but you would be better off going on geeks.com and buying a pata hd, there fairly cheap. Hope that helped.

Computers have diffrent interfaces , pata(IDE), sata, ata.., you have to figure out what your laptop takes.

Look up the specs online of the model of you laptop. It should tell you type of hard drive it takes.
