The shipping on this item is alittle sttep dont you think? Its only like $4.95 to ship standard flate rate shipping and the boxes are provided by the usps.

you are right, but not 100% since the shipping fee is not the same for all states. I just sent the game boy color to FL or IL and it costed me around $9 for FL and & over $10 for IL.. The usps said that the zone 7 and zone 8 will cost more. I just know about that and i still have to pay for them.

If it fits in the small priority mail box (free from USPS) the cost is $4.95 ANYWHERE in the USA.

Tell you what - tell me the shipping WEIGHT and the DIMENSIONS and I can check the postage. It sounds like the postal clerk you spoke to was in error.

cme is correct. You can ship from the USPS for 4.95. They even give you the box for free. UPS charges an arm and a leg. I'm not terribly impatient. So if I win I don't mind it being sent out parcel post. It dosen't have to be priority shipping. Priority allways charges a higher fee.

I will bid if shipping is reduced to the $4.95 that the post office charges
