I paid 10.00 dollars for this at rummage sale and it came with everything you see including the romote for what idk however i will say the cord to this that is to be pluged into the back idk if it is the right one . any questions just ask, also i willl not be doing any refunds ty and happy biddings.
all i know is you have to plug it into the red, yellow and white from the front or back of your t.v. so you can get the basic public 3 or 4 maybe 6 channels on your tv if your lucky i know with mine i only get 4 basic channels so idk if that will help you with info but i tried. hope you have good day and i will see if i can get better info on here.
Hi this is a over the air digital signal convert for antenna reception. if you use an antenna and your tv was made before 2009 you need a converter box, tv's made after 2009 have a built in digital receiver. the converter box is capable of receiving 68 frequency's or channels plus sub channels, for example ch. 2 with two sub channels looks like this 2.1, 2.2, 2.3 the amount of sub channels vary's but most networks have three. The amount of stations you are able to receive depends on how far you are from the transmitters and the type of antenna being used as well as what is between you and the station transmitters. Tall buildings, mountains, etc. I hate to say it but that remote is not for that box. the remote should have universal capabilities but you will need to enter specific code for the box into the remote, even then it will probably only turn the box on or off. Most of these converter box's must have the original remote in order to operate all of the menu functions. the good news is replacement remotes are easy to find on the internet.
