This is a working candle hot plate--just set the opened candle jar on it --plug it in and as the wax melts----beautiful scents fill your house with out burning your candle--can use over and over. Safer than a burning candle.

Thanks--it really does work well--I just don't use candles any more--so do not need it.

I really like the idea of my house spelling nice without of a flame, I have a 3 and 5 year old

Just make sure it is high enough that they can't get to it--the wax gets hot to melt--not sure if it would be hot enough to burn them--but take no chances. They are too precious!!!!!

I know that, my kids actually like the seeing the flame of the candle, but I think they won't pay as much attention to the candle if they think it isn't lit. I would definately put it up high so they wouldn't get burned.
