Description

The listing, *Rare* Cowboy Lite Tobacco 100+ seeds has ended.

Tobacco is a relatively easy plant to grow.

Cowboy "LITE" tobacco is a light air-cured tobacco used primarily for cigarette production.

Tobacco seeds are extremely small not much larger than a pin ***** and care should be taken when sowing seed as to not sow to thickly. Tobacco seed require warm temperatures for germination of about 75-80 degrees. Seed should be started indoors 4-6 weeks before your last frost date. Start by sprinkling the tobacco seed onto the surface of a sterile seed starting mix and lightly water in. DO NOT cover the seed with any soil as they need light for germination and covering can slow down germination time or if covered too deeply the seed won't germinate at all, watering in lightly is all that is needed.

Seed will begin to germinate in about 7-10 days with some tobacco varieties taking a few days longer to begin germination. If your seed don't germinate right away be patient, it can take up to 2 weeks for some tobacco varieties to germinate.

Are these seeds from organic, pesticide-free plants? Thanks!

I do not believe these are organic, but I do have some others that I will be listing on here soon that are organically grown, Virginia Gold.

Please check your local and state regulations before going crazy. Most only allow a certain number of plants for personal use, after that special permits and licences are needed. Just sayin, been there myself.

Thanks I don't have enough space yet to grow enough to make a difference, thank goodness. Thank you for the heads up though.

I'm growing Virginia gold right now and you are right about they take special care. Anyone looking to get these cannot rush any step in the growing, or germinating process. It took my first batch 9 weeks just to sprout, so it does take patience and care.

With all the plants I have started it is hard sometimes to remember what needs what special attention. Thank you for the comment.
