The listing, Hamster Mouse Gerbil Cage with Goodies has ended.

Wonderful almost new, slightly used by the now missing gerbil that is roaming somewhere around the house at night. We've been night stalking the little critter with a flash light but he seems to be smarter than we are.

We upgraded to a grander palace and when transporting his majesty he slipped out of my grandsons grasp. Lesson here is: never let a three year old carry a gerbil.

Anyway, the cage is in great shape, has a water bottle, a feed dish, a second floor section with a climbing tube slide and an exercise wheel. As you can see it is red and white. 15" x 15" x 9". Super starter cage or just a new abode for your critter.

A great way to get a loose hamster/ gerbil is to set up a tall bucket (like a mop bucket) and trail their food up a ramp (make sure it is wide enough they dont accidently slip off the side) to the top and put some of their food at the bottom of the bucket. the follow the trail then jump into the bottom of the bucket to get the food and cant grasp the smooth sides to get out. When I was a girl we had hamsters and one of the little smarties figure out how to open one of the doors and they all escaped (we had about 35 or so). We got to females and thought mine was sick so went to walmart got a third that was supposed to be female. Turned on mine was fine so we ended up with three hamsters. The third one from the store turned out to be a male and a very happy one at that. and we were blessed with a TON of baby hamsters. then they all got loose one night

OMG! I can't even imagine have 35 of these little critters! My grandaughter wanted another one, but until we snag the first one NO MORE! I will try your bucket idea and keep you posted.
