30 years ago the u.s.mint made 7 different types of pennies made of cooper and zinc and zinc with a copper coating !!!! the copper ones had 95% copper and 5% zinc while the zinc ones had 97.6% zinc and 2.4% copper!!! they wanted to see which one lasted the longest so to save money on production cost!!! don't be surprised that within the next few years that they quit making pennies altogether!!! canada quit making pennies in 2010 !! they cost more to make than they are worththats why this set was made!!! this is the only way that you can own a set of these is right here!! you think you can get 7 different 1982 pennies in your change !!! i called 3 different coin companies and asked if they had sets of these and none did!!!!! that's why they are gonna cost ya in credits and i am not lowering like i usually do!!! i probably should not even put these up for auction in the first place!!!! i lied!!! i lowered!!!! from 14999 to 12999!!!!!!
