The listing, Compaq Presario 2100 has ended.

I got this computer from work. It works great. If you would like more info on it please refer to the pictures or Google the model.

It has been brought to my attention that this PC does not have a internet card. I have done some research and have found the wireless card that installs via the bottom of the PC. This is not a card that goes in the side of the PC. I priced them on E bay and they run around 5 to 10 dollars. I also forgot to mention that the battery does not hold a charge. I have always just kept it plugged in. That is correct, for this pc to connect to the internet and stay charged. That is all you will need.

Haha...when my son was still living with us, having a PC for him without the ability to connect to the Internet would of been a GOOD thing. LOL!

From what I see here, this laptop can be made internet capable easily, so it depends on what you want to use it for. We have three laptops in our home, and they are used daily, and not a single one of them have good batteries. Don't need them, they all run on the power cords. Again, it all depends on what you intend to do with the machine.

this computer also has the conector for hard line on it ( pic#2 ) so it can be on line without a card

You should pull the pic that shows the product key for Win XP. Every hack on Listia is right now copying that number down, and applying it to their own personal pirated copy.
