If you're not married and have no kids with him, kick him to the curb. If you're living with him, move out. There are people who care about you who don't want you to live like that and will help you if you need it. Just walk away. Plenty of other fish in the sea.

yeah, or taking it to the physical level and then the next day its like nothing ever happened.. if i hadnt followed a piece of advice my dad always gave me, i probably wouldnt be here to write this: Always keep your keys in your hand, a little preasure in the neck area goes a long way. ok um, PS we just got married on the 20th of sept. he still prefers to keep stuff like that in the past... he hasnt repeated it since... but i have 2 little ones 6 yrs. (girl) an 7 mo. (boy) i did the single parent thing with my first born and it was really hard on her... sometimes i wonder how i would do it alone with two... no thank you..

So you're saying your husband almost killed you once? If he is doing physical stuff to you, that's it. And it sounds like the incident you described is recent. As far as being a single parent of two, plenty of women do it, some with even more than two children. I knew a girl whose husband died when she had a 4 mo old and was pregnant with #2. Also, if your husband is verbally abusive and violent I doubt he helps you much with the kids or with chores. Please talk to a domestic violence counselor. They will help you.

Thanks! :) I posted this book in hopes of helping someone. Even if no one bids on the book, I'm glad I posted it to let people know there are resources where they can explore their relationship and get help if needed. If anyone is low on points they can borrow this book from their library or purchase a used copy for very cheap online.
