You could send it media mail or first class for less than $3.00.

No idea what media mail is and no, I don't want to just stick it in a flat rate box, 1800's was a long time ago. It's not like it's from the 40's or 60's like other books listed here. I can't just send it normally, I am very protective over books, especially when it's so old. I have great respect for books. But I may change my mind about shipping costs if I find a good way to do it that I can be sure it's going to be safe.

You could wrap in ten layers of bubble wrap and still send it for $3.00. Media mail is for books and cd's and measures your package by the pound. I recently sent a 6 pound package via media mail and it cost less than $5.00

Fascinating, I am still new to this shipping thing. I have only shipped 7 so far and this is the first book...if this one can sell well...then I will post some more of my antique books...

Must be a Protestant. Tobit, Judith , 1 and 2 Maccabees, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, and certain parts of Daniel and Esther are all found in the Catholic and Orthodox Bibles, but not in the Protestant canon.
