My all time favorite cherry tomato! Been planting them since 1994.
Small cherry tomato, about the size of a maraschino cherry, with big tomato flavor. High sugar content. Abundant producer.
These are great fresh in salads or cooking. So small that their is no need to cut them. You can freeze them whole in a bag and add them to your sauce in the winter to really give it a fresh taste. Skins are so thin that you do not even notice them in cooked recipes.
Will come back from dropped seeds year after year, even in Upstate NY. I loved my little volunteers every spring.
Indeterminate. Will grow and produce abundant crop until frost. Pull plants right before first frost and hang upside down in a protected area and tomatoes on plant will continue to ripen.
This auction is for 5 seeds from 2012 crop (which was planted with fresh seeds from Johnny's). I have always had 100% germination.
