I am sorry but I can not get a zoomed in picture, my camera is NOT that good and my scanner won't let me either. I am sorry if you think I am trying to pull one over on you because I definately am not!! I have looked at this coin with a 10x loop and they are very plain. We purchaced this coin from a highly respected and knowledgable dealer that my husband has done buisness with for many years, my husband belongs to the 4 Step Nickel Club and this coin just happened to be a duplicate of what he already had. If you want to bid on this coin great, and if you should win it, I will guarantee it is exactly what it is listed as.
I'm not doubting you. It's just so rare to actualy see one. They are worth 25 bucks or more for most dates and newer ones are called 6 step nickels! Yes I agree it is dificult to take pictures of coins because of flash reflection, etc. even with a decent Nikon digital camera. so don't feel like the lone ranger!
Before we got the scanner my husband use to put coins in a coffee cup and take pictures that way? was better than nothing lol. I don't know if you follow coins in Coin World Magazine or not anyway my husband use to team up with Jim Hale, Jim had numerous coins 'attributed' to him, they both tried teaching me, I am learning but slowly, too much to remember.
